## The measured benefit in approved use

In the RECONNECT Phase 3 trials (n=1267 premenopausal women with HSDD), bremelanotide 1.75 mg as-needed met both coprimary endpoints over 24 weeks: desire rose (FSFI-desire +0.35, P<.001) and desire-related distress fell (FSDS-DAO item 13 -0.33, P<.001) versus placebo [3]. Reviews report good evidence for bremelanotide in HSDD while stressing approved options remain few and trial-design limitations apply [8][11].
